 It is getting harder and harder to believe in anything, other than My Lord.  It is been awhile since I have believed in our government.  It has been awhile since I have believed in the rule of law.   It has been a long, long time, since  I have loved living in the USA.  This is no longer the America I grew up in.  I am eighty (80) years old.  I am African American. I was raised to be patriotic. My family taught us kids to love our county.  Then the USA was a great society.  I was very very proud to live here.  It was everything, even with the racism that existed for me and my kind. My family and most black folk ignored this white man's phobia and went about enjoying our lives.  We were a happy folk.  Hell, we were glad to be free.  My folk were thankful to be allowed to work, live, love, and to be left alone.  We really did not think about the white man.  He was full of misery and woe.  He was full of ...
