This man is evil personified.

I thought Steve Bannon was evil, and he is.

I thought Stephen Miller was evil, and he continues to be, also.

Donald J. Trump is an evil man who has surrounded himself with evil.

I feel like we are a doomed democracy, but I will not give up hope!  This democracy idea has already been firmly entrenched into me.  I am seventy-five years old.  I am a Black female.  I have been married to my childhood sweetheart for 55 years.  

We have been honored with two sons, who blessed us with five, exhilaratingly wonderful granddaughters.

Alexis is the youngest.  She is ten and will be entering the sixth grade this fall; online or not.  Lexi is also the baby sister of triplet sisters, who are twenty-one years old.  The triplets are entering their Junior Year in three different colleges. Britney, the youngest triplet has been told that she can come back to campus to start her Junior Year.  We'll see!  Taylor, our first born triplet, has not received any communication regarding the start of her Junior Year.  Neither has Daria, our second born triplet.  Chloe, our oldest granddaughter, is twenty-five, and a college graduate. Education is so important to my family.  She is in the work force, currently working from home.  

Life is interesting. My husband and I have seen so much. I particularly remember Kent State. The shooting of those white students woke me the fuck up.  I almost gave up then, but I didn't.  We persevered.  You see, we believed in what we had been taught in our public schools.  These were not and still are not "government schools."

We were taught a meaningful curriculum that pointedly centered on civics and our duty as citizens.  We were taught a love of our country.  We "ducked and covered" from a possible invasion from, believe it or not, Russia! 

Barr and his criminality has changed our country, possibly forever.  He is a racist.  He does not believe in the value of black and brown people.  He is a white supremacist and he is dangerous.  Why else would he discount the value of me and mine?
